A BIT ABOUT ME
I was born in the Netherlands where
she studied at the International
Hotel Management School of
Leeuwarden University.
In 2004, I moved to Mallorca. On this island I have developed a big part of
my career. I have also spent time
working in Thailand, Indonesia and
Holland.
My mother tongue is
Dutch but I
also speak Spanish, English and German.
I have worked for a variety of large companies including Starwood at The St. Regis Bangkok and Arabella
Golf Spa & Resort Mallorca, OTS
Globe, Nuevo Pueblo Español in
Palma de Mallorca and KUDETA
Bali. In these companies, I have
successfully undertaken and
delivered through a range of
diverse responsibilities in the
Commercial and Sales areas, as
well as in Marketing and Events.
The experience cultivated in
positions of trust at large
corporations in different countries
and continents, as well as in the
organisation of her own events has
provided Carolien Stapper with the
necessary background to be a
freelancer, capable of working
independently as well as in
collaboration with a team.
In the workplace, the main
motivation is to see how a project
or a company goes from regular
to optimal, or from optimal to
excellent.
My approach is proactive,
dynamic, versatile and resolutive.
I love numbers and by nature, I‘m
a person inclined towards order,
organisation, efficiency and
speed.
I don‘t like waisting anyone’s time,
and neither want to waist mine. I
know that time is of the essence
and this is what I can offer to your
company; more time to devote to
the business while I‘m taking care of
the tasks that prevent you from
focusing on what is important and
moving forward.
I’d like
to be that person that
doesn’t have a negative answer,
when I get a proposal to work
on a project. I have an
extensive network of contacts,
from Mallorca to the rest of
Spain, Germany, the
Netherlands, Scandinavia and
Asia.
Commitment is of prime
importance for me. If something
can not be done within a realistic
time frame, I will communicate this
to you and you will always know
exactly what stage the project is at.
